Example 1: "cat". See the word, and think it in your mind. The animal known as the word comes into mind, perhaps with any emotions associated in memory with the animal. This is the unique word imprint that is unique to everyone, for each word. The imprint is not a dictionary definition, it is molded on past experience, emotional learning and differentiation. As every word can carry double, triple or more meanings and definitions, so can the imprint. The mind is infinitely pliable, and the thought is a reflection of the mind. As to the image.
The technique of power words is simple, if you are mere competent at focusing your mind, much as a magnifying glass focuses a pinpoint of heat, manifesting in the ignition of a flame.
Two thoughts are needed for the application of a power word. The first is the unspoken thought, the direction in which the mental energy will be placed. This is as simple as concentrating the engaging act you wish to modify through use of the power word.
The second thought is the power word itself, which is spoken in the mind strongly, assuredly as to carry the effect. It need not be shouted, it can even be whispered, depending on your preference.
(For example, using the power word "hidden" while trying to hide in plain sight, and shouting the word in your mind; would have a detrimental effect.)
As the strength of the mind is infinite in its ability to modify yourself, the effect of the power word can be equal. It all depends on the force you put on your words. You must believe it to happen. There is no other alternative, no other possibility that the effect you wish to happen, WILL happen.
The one-word spell is the basic power word. In this one word will be spoken in the mind to the effect, one adjective in an effort to modify the event's outcome. "strength", "agility", "guile" are some examples.
Using more than one word is considered a power mantra, or power phrase. Power words are very scarcely full sentences. The use of full vocabulary tends to detract from the effect desired.
In complex situations where perhaps more than one event needs manipulated, nouns and verbs will be used to supplement the spell. "emotion; control. calm" would be one. The first half "emotion; control" where 'emotion' is the target, or alpha point. 'control' is the modifier, or beta point. The last word 'calm' is a disconnected modifier (beta alpha, the first point of the second phrase) that without the controller noun might weaken the effect, negating this is the purpose of its' use.
Not everyone sees images or the memories when the word is said. As its not necessary that you see or recall something, its a big mistake of todays psychology and treatment. also its a requirement of the method. Its the idea, that you can say the word and it can evoke a feeling too. Without the image or recall. It is to the feel of it at some point that people might react. So the imprint can be of feelings too, without the visual of the idea.
