A speech

This came from a friend today as a speech, so don't block me out for it:

I am sick and tired of the news media on CNN. I am so glad I moved to Ireland. The state of the United States is in a sad state of affairs. You would think that Governor Mary Fallin of Oklahoma would do more about the mental health deficit. She crawled on her belly like a little bitch and begged Donald trump to let her join his powerful panel by and I quote "offering him a softer touch". Instead of asking for funding for treatment centers, the only news story bombarding the media and social media is this "Should Michele Obama's Mother receive a pension for living in the White house?"

Sure, Mrs. Obama did great things, with that said, she continues to parade around on the news; making several public appearances, including an appearance on Oprah and late night TV promoting herself as an icon and savior of children instead of gracefully stepping down and out of the spotlight. Mrs Obama continues to put down our president elect, eliciting fear mongering with " I hope he doesn't cut my school lunch program".

This irrational and televised wording makes her sound hypocritical, and overshadowed her albeit excellent points made during one of her speeches concerning "name calling", bullying and fear mongering. "they go low, we go high" -only when it suits her running mate does she enact this creed. Furthermore the media is the biggest source of fear mongering/universal skepticism.

Question everything? First of all, I question why concern over her mother receiving a pension is newsworthy. News networks showcase fake news, scandals, racism, and sexism while Russia is eating popcorn and getting off. All the while Trump is cracking down n this as well as more important issues such as the economy Bush left in shambles, and focusing on narrowing the gap still effecting both white and African American males. For example, both women and men should be held equally accountable on issues such as child support.

Families (especially men) face sanctions; pay check deductions, drivers licence revocations, etc. The justice system is overbearing in regards to punishment to "fix" labeled criminal's whom do not and/or cannot comply with court ordered fees. The focus instead should be on uniting families on issues such as child support and alimony through the funding of counseling agencies geared for helping families reach civil understanding/contractual agreements vs punishment. Funding mental health lessens the need for fines, fees, deductions and pensions.

Therefore, everyone who voted for the decriminalization of minor crimes and funding treatment centers are my personal heroes because I am an out of work counselor needing to get a damn job. I am a humble woman, and with all due respect to Michele Obama, we need to keep the important topics on the forefront and leave the Obama's family finances out of the mainstream media because we are sick and tired of it. This is freedom of speech and if anyone disagrees with my post, feel free to block me because I do not care what political discrepancy this makes for those entitled to their opinionated belief.

  1. Note to self:

Preface guest appearances with a preface.

Let us all give the most ever so slight nods to the first, first wOman in office. Michael never turns down the around when reached.

The theatre captivates the mind's eye, don't mind it, turn away your eyes. Paint your own reality. Do you always play the games with written rules wrote by other than yourself? Not alwAys, but sum times.

    Be well. Three
