Meditative technique: listening

 When you close your eyes, focus on the world around you. Notice how everything feels. The earth has a heartbeat. Listen for it. Learn how to move with it, instead of trying to separate yourself. Notice that when you open your eyes, what you see, and what you feel, doesn't change. Everything that was there when you woke up is exactly the way it was when you went to sleep, the only difference being the tempo of the rhythm. Learn to listen to the earth. You will gain a lot, just by knowing how to stop with listening.
