The elements revisited

  Combined they be:
Earth and fire is lava
Fire and water/water and fire is firewater
Water in air is moisture which can condense and form on surfaces
Air with earth is blown dirt or dirt devils or flying debree

  Further combined, they can be:
Earth water that is oil
Earth air is gravity
Firey air is heat and as the 'fire in air' tornadoes.
Water and earth is mud
Air fire is lightning or moving energy or electricity
Air and water is ice
